Property management provides a unique working experience with different daily challenges

Real estate can be a passion for many, and sometimes you just know that it is the industry that you want to work in. Property Managers perform a vast variety of tasks and responsibilities, so they are constantly learning and captivated by what every day could bring.

Angela Shnaider has been working at Little Real Estate for a year and a half as a Property Manager, and she was certain from the beginning that she has always wanted to work in real estate. Angela was more than happy to share her views on real estate and what it’s like working for Little Real Estate.

What is it like being a Property Manager?

“No day is the same and that’s what I love about the role. Of course you have your core duties such as following up arrears, maintenance, invoicing, inspections etc but then you have maintenance that can range from a simple leaking tap to a much larger strata issue, renovations, tribunals…the list goes on and on. You don’t get bored that’s for sure!”

What interested you (or stood out) about working for Little Real Estate in particular?

“I liked that Little Real Estate is forward thinking with the way they integrated technology into the role to try to make daily management of a portfolio as streamlined as possible.”

I must say though that the flexibility and support that I have experienced with Little Real Estate have been the greatest factors, it is what I have loved most about being with the company.”

What do you like most about being a Property Manager?

“My favourite part of my job is that no day is the exact same as the one gone. Each day is new with different focuses and challenges.”

As one of the company pillars is fun – What has been some enjoyable or memorable experiences you’ve had since working at Little Real Estate?

“It would definitely have to be last year’s end-of-year party. Towards the end of the night when it seemed that the night was dying down, the Central team stayed on having a great catch up and a laugh – you could definitely tell that we had all grown closer from that day and the team became stronger.”

It is clear from the chat with Angela that real estate, particularly property management provides a unique working experience with different daily challenges.

With the addition of technology, Little Real Estate is constantly striving for a streamlined experience for our team but also for our clients.
